This VGA to HDMI converter converts a standard VGA signal from a laptop or Computer to a Industry standard HDMI 1.2 signal. This allows for connectivity to newer plasma or LCD televisions that have an available HDMI port.

This VGA converter also includes an analog RCA audio input that is converted to a digital audio signal. The two signals are combined and transmitted through theHDMI Port.

This device will simply allow you to connect your computer to your television that has a HDMI port.

Some care must be taken to find the supported resolutions of your television. This information can typically be found in the users manual or on the manufacturers web site. The resolution settings for your computer can be found by clicking on your display settings in your control panel of your computer.

We suggest setting the resolution below the supported resolution and work your way up.

The VGA to HDMI converter supports standard VGA signal resolutions up to 1080P (1600x1200).

We have found it works best at 1024x768.

This unit requires some computer knowledge. Configurating your display setting to a dual monitor display is required. Not all resolutions will be supported by all tv/pc types.
